privacy policy

This is the short, plain-language version. Camina is built to hold as little as it needs and to treat your food and health information as sensitive. The current beta is for people 19 and older. Before setup, Camina identifies itself as AI and asks you to explicitly agree to this policy and the Terms through the prefilled signup message or, for a direct text, by continuing after its disclosure.

what we collect

The messages and photos you send Camina; the food, calories, and macros derived from them; the profile and targets you set up (things like goal, height, weight, and time zone); and basic subscription details. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

how we use it

To estimate and log your meals, coach you over time, remember what matters to you (like dietary needs and allergies), run your subscription, and support you when you reach out. We don't sell your personal information.

who we share it with

Only the service providers that make Camina work — for example, our messaging provider, our payment processor (Stripe), and the AI model provider that powers the estimates — and only as needed to run the service, or where the law requires it.

retention & your choices

We keep your history so Camina can stay useful over time. You can opt out of messages any time by texting STOP. You can withdraw consent or ask to access, correct, or delete your data by emailing us. Withdrawing consent means Camina can no longer provide the service. We handle these requests by hand.
